Remember when you were younger and searched every pack of Pokemon cards for a holographic Charizard? I remember it took me years just to get a cool holographic card that I could proudly display in the front of my binder.
Well, it’s 2016 and I am on the hunt for all things shiny.
Fascination with iridescent clothes is easier to understand when you’re a crow like me. I love the shine of jewels and minerals in the light. I am attracted to oil on concrete displaying an array of colors based on your position. I just love all that glitters. The thing about iridescence is, it’s not glittery. It’s usually a matte material that screams majestic.
For the record, iridescence is synonymous with holographic. Essentially, the definition is something that reflects different colors based on different angles.
